Solar and wind power is not enough to meet the demand for energy, so geothermal power will be a key element in the energy transition. Rijswijk is one of the best places in the Netherlands to harness geothermal energy. At The Park is a unique location full of geothermal potential: the porous sandstone, the Rijswijk stone and the Rijswijk formation combine to create the perfect conditions for a &#8216;geothermic doublet&#8217;.
